| Skirting is more vulnerable to weathering than other parts of the house. On the windward sides of the house skirting impacted by driving rain. On the sun sides of the house skirting is impacted by angular sun exposure. |
| Bamboo skirting is an optional part. Because of potential damage from weather exposure, requiring regular additional owner care and maintenance, bamboo skirting is not covered by bamboo house warranties. |
| Purchaser should add one coat of Cetol with mildicide additive to exterior railings, skirting and weather exposed areas. Any additional Cetol purchased locally (Log & Siding type) should have mildicide added to it. We recommend M1, which is 1 package per gallon of Cetol. |
