Guest House is a perfect guest cottage and comes with several options. Custom window openings can be added to each side. An ornamental package of curved bamboo poles under the roof line and the beautiful interior woven bamboo walls can make these houses ornamental and exotic works of art.

Bamboo Technologies built 12 custom designed guest cottages for a resort in Rarotonga, arranged so the front decks have ocean views. The Cook Islands are 15 islands in Polynesia, flanked to the west by Tonga and Samoa and to the east by Tahiti and French Polynesia. Rarotonga is the center of the Cook Islands, and is encircled by a reef with a lagoon of clear turquoise waters and white sand beaches.

House designs consider the building site microclimate to ensure houses perform in the most challenging climates. In tropical climates, skylights, cupolas and built in ventilation are encouraged. For insulated homes in hot and cold climates, the customer chooses R-Values and insulation options.

NEWS: BAMBOO HOUSES STAND UP TO 3 HURRICANES.
Bamboo Houses are designed to exceed seismic and hurricane requirements of international building codes. Steel reinforced bamboo brace panels are used in each building are then bolted securely to engineered foundations. Now we have real evidence from the Cook Islands, of just how well bamboo houses held up against 173 mph hurricane winds and tsunami like waves, compared to nearby conventional wood frame resorts which were demolished.
