You may want to use bamboo flooring on the living areas, tile in the kitchen and bathroom, and carpeting in the bedrooms. You may choose to have only two bathrooms and expand one of the bedrooms. You may choose to limit the exterior deck to less than 4 sides and include large picture windows or sliding windows instead of doors. The doors can be sliding glass doors or double French doors made from bamboo.
